One of the many type of loot found in the Wilds is the Archifact. Archifacts contain information concerning a particular faction, and how they found themselves fighting for Domusalus. There is a deep history behind how these invading factions descended from humans, but you'll have to extract with these Archifacts to uncover it.
But here's a hint: Leviathan.

One Terran's trash is another Domi's treasure! These items have little purpose outside selling to the local vendors. They do however add some insight to the ecology of Domusalus.

Throughout the Aurelian Wilds, you can find statues of the ancient Domisa, who is revered by the Domi people. If you place your unneeded loot in the crucible before Domisa,  you will be granted Domirium at a different rate than the vendors; some better and some worse.

Domi tradition holds that Domisa commissioned these altars in the ancient past. Not much is known about how they work, but if you bring the remains of your recently killed friend, revival can happen!
