Knight Bomber

Harold used to be one of the many soldiers in King Combustia's army. Then one day, while on patrol in the Green Forest, he discovered the fabled Exploding Table. When he sat at it, his mind was warped, causing him to become obsessed with explosives. Having this newly found enlightenment, Harold took up the name "Knight Bomber." He quickly gathered his friends to sit at the Exploding Table with him, thus forming the Knights of the Exploding Table!

Dusk Bomber

A bounty hunter faring from the southern lands, Jovel traveled to Combustia in pursuit of one of his targets. He met Harold, who helped him to detain the bounty, and they became friends. Jovel decided to stay and work in Combustia as the bounties paid more. He also befriended Audrey while targeting the same bounty she was chasing. Jovel became "Dusk Bomber" after sitting at the Exploding Table.

Day Bomber

Erik was a Combustian soldier in the same division as Harold. He prided himself on his strength and would often spend his free time working out. Although Erik was the strongest knight in his rank he still admired Harold for his unwavering determination and so the two became friends who encouraged each other to always continue growing. Erik became "Day Bomber" after his Exploding Table enlightenment.

Dawn Bomber

Becoming just another soldier in the king's army was never good enough for Audrey. So she became a mercenary that only took up jobs she approved of. After making a name for herself even the king's army would sometimes hire her, when their interests aligned. Audrey became friends with Harold and Erik, then, later, Jovel, by working alongside them in various missions. Sitting at the Exploding Table moved Audrey to become "Dawn Bomber"

King Combustia

King Combustia VI had ruled the Combustian Lands with moderate freedom, but upon hearing that the Knights of the Exploding Table were blowing up persons and property all over his kingdom, he decided to take action. The king decreed the gunpowder needed to create explosives would be henceforth illegal. He thus sent his mightiest warriors to guard the gunpowder mines to prevent anyone from retrieving it.

Goblam

This goblin-like species is native to the Green Forest. Because of proximity, many of the Goblams have sat at the Exploding Table, and have fallen into a bomb-obsessed insanity. Those that haven't lost their minds have instead fallen victim to peer pressure.

Goblam Farmer

These Goblams are rare in that they have a bit of sensibility left. They focus their efforts on growing fruit trees or raising animals. Though they can still be seen using bombs to harvest their fruit, they seldom attack people.

Gobloom

They say a Goblam mother that eats enough Mushram stew will give birth to a Gobloom baby. A Gobloom grows to be taller, tougher, and more obsessed with explosives... and also spiked apparel for some reason.

Sheepie

These fluffy quadrupeds don't seem to be aware of the constant peril they are in. With so many explosive threats around, the Goblam Farmers might be the only ones keeping them alive. Some scientists, however, suggest that Sheepie might already be adapting to the bombs with their uncanny ability to kick them away.

Mushram

The Mushram species is quite peculiar. The males seem to always be showing off for potential mates as they charge and headbutt everything that moves. Despite this, no one has ever seen a female Mushram... or even an adolescent one. It's a baffling mystery indeed.

Bir

Like the Goblams, most Birs have at some point perched on the Exploding Table. While they lack the intelligence needed to craft explosives, the females (who tend to have darker colors), can actually lay their eggs while flying, so as to cause an explosion upon the eggs' impact. This isn't an option for the males (who tend to have lighter colors), so they will instead attempt to steal bomb bags and gunpowder from other creatures by pecking them.

Googlyblob

These gooey blobs of slime and eyes feed on organic matter but lack the digestive qualities needed to break down most prey. To deal with this, Googlyblobs live near poison swamps. They engulf their prey, then drag them into the poison, which breaks down the prey enough for the Googlyblobs to absorb the nutrients. Googlyblobs are also capable of merging with each other which enhances their resilience but increases their nourishment quota.

Merchant

Merchants tend to be entrepreneurs who long to escape the peasant class. While the nobles look down upon the merchant class, that doesn't keep them from doing business with merchants when profitable. With the kings new gunpowder bans, many merchants are swarming to sell the stuff, as selling illegal goods means you don't have to pay taxes on the income. Unfortunately for the merchants, gunpowder customers are often dangerous.

Combustian Soldiers

Loyal knights of the kings army, these soldiers fight as their superiors direct them to. The red ones are swordsmen who like to fight up close. They wear red to inspire fear into the hearts of their enemies. The blue ones use spears to attack with reach. They wear blue to give their enemies a false sense of security. Many of these soldiers worked with Harold and Erik before they fell off the deep-end.
